*Each of our products is handmade to order. As such, lead time is currently 5-6 weeks for production.
 
All of our ladders are made using true 1" thick hardwood, not 3/4" wood found in almost all other ladders. The thicker wood we use provides increased stability while also giving a more substantial aesthetic and feel to your ladder. We can customize your ladder should you wish to have different dimensions or angle- just reach out with a message or custom order request!

Dimensions:
The height dimension in the listing options refers to the total height of the ladder! (from foot to top of ladder). If you select a height dimension from the listing, the top step will be at 12" under the top of the ladder side rails. If you wish for the ladder to extend beyond the loft floor please take into account the height needed and share with us or loft height, or reach out prior to ordering to clarify what would work best for your space! 
Example: a 9ft selected ladder will have a total length(height) of 9ft with the top step located at 8ft from the foot(bottom) default.
 

Wood Type:
All Unfinished and Stained ladders are made of oak. Painted ladders are made of maple or poplar. We will gladly accommodate your wood species of choice should you desire another wood. Just send us a note about what wood type you are looking for!

Finishing Options:
Unfinished: We can create your ladder without any finish. You can choose to use your ladder with the natural unfinished wood, or finish on your own at a later time.
Stained Ladders: We will finish your ladder with your stain color of choice followed by 3 coats of polyurethane sealer. If your stain color of choice is not listed, do not hesitate to reach out with your custom stain request!
Painted Ladders: We will paint your ladder in your paint color of choice. We only ask that you provide the paint color or code of your choice so that we can match your color exactly.

Accessories:
We also offer 46" metal handrails, 42" steam-bent wood handrails, and a mounting kit as accessories. We recommend the mounting kit for applications where holding the ladder against the wall is important. The mounting kit consists of a wall mounted bar, and two hooks that mount to the rear of the ladder. The hooks then "hook" over the bar holding the ladder to the bar/wall.

We can customize the height, number of steps, angle, width, wood, or finish to make your perfect ladder. For each custom order, we create a customized digital drawing of your ladder to be sure you are comfortable with your ladder prior to ordering.
